|  | The Redevelopment Agency is embarking on a Pine Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project to improve the area around Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach. Please join Councilmember Robert Garcia, 1st District, Councilmember Suja Lowenthal, 2nd District, and the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency for the second community meeting about the project on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 5:30 p.m., at the First Congregational Church, 241 Cedar Avenue.

|  | The City of Long Beach is accepting applications from parties interested in making use of the Recovery Zone Facility Bond allocation for private development projects. Recovery Zone Facility Bonds are tax-exempt bonds designed to assist private companies and developers finance economic development projects located in Recovery Zones.
